So where did we leave off? Oh yes leaking. So on Wednesday mr. sushinut talked me into staying home another day and going to the doctor. Went in for a exam and it turns out there's no sign of me leaking amniotic fluid. My ob said it looked like I had a lot of discharge which is normal especially with twins and this is what was probably leaking.
What a relief. Even saw the nuggets briefly on the ultrasound.
So tomorrow will be a week since the amnio. I wonder when they say 8 -10 days for the results if they count the day of. Maybe not. Anyways sometime this week I should be getting them. I hope I'm not at work when I do but since they'll most likely call in the middle of the day I will be. What a stressful call to take. I know my heart is going to stop for a moment.
So it's another week playing the "what baby" game with the clothes. Some of you have beenwondering how I do it. I basically rotate two items in my closet over clothes. A big sweater and a big jacket. Now I actually have to button them up so people can't see. I feel like a fool, I probably look like a fool, to me it's obvious. Maybe they just don't say anything because since people see me each day I look the same. But I'm ready to be called upon by the fashion police soon. My plan is to let my staff know and let the cat out of the bag as soon as I get the amnio results back. That's when I feel I can officially bond. Until then I don't want to hear people's congratulations.
Oh and it looks like there will be like 20 people at thanksgiving this year. Fabulous. What a quaint group to announce our news. I guess I'll probably leave out the 4 miscarriages when announcing...that's sure to put a damper on dinner.

So glad about the discharge,as weird as it is to type that. Get ready, cause its only going to get worse! Yippee. Still waiting with you on the amnio results...hopefully the wait won't take much longer. When you do the big reveal at work, maybe you might let your blog friends get a glimpse too?

I'm thrilled the leaking isn't real leaking, and the twins are doing fine. Still keeping my fingers crossed for the amnio results, and sending lots of luck.
Still thinking about you and crossing my fingers for the "all clear" on the amnio!! I love the mental picture of you trying to hide 18 week old twins under a jacket... I would have to wonder if people don't have at least an inkling... ;)
I cannot wait until everyone at work and your family knows so they can help celebrate the two healthy babies! You are quite an inspiration for holding out on the news though.
Still holding a lot of hope that the amnio results get here quickly and are good news!
